## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Drive and scale Stripe’s performance philosophy and practices by designing and improving performance experiences that clarify expectations, support growth through feedback, and enable meaningful contributions.
- Evolve performance and talent tooling by partnering with People Products and cross-functional stakeholders to translate program needs into scalable systems, processes, and user journeys.
- Strengthen career growth and talent investment through programs, mechanisms, and insights supporting career development, talent planning, succession, and investment in people.
- Lead complex, cross-functional workstreams; build alignment among global stakeholders, surface risks and dependencies, make progress in ambiguous environments, and unblock critical decisions.
- Use qualitative and quantitative insights to define problem statements and refine strategy, programs, and execution.

## Requirements

- 10+ years of experience building and scaling global People or HR experiences, including process and product or systems design.
- Experience leading complex programs in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with high ownership and cross-functional problem solving.
- Strong systems thinking across people, processes, tools, policies, and organizational decisions, including augmenting workflows and processes with AI tools.
- Ability to build trusted stakeholder relationships, communicate across levels and functions, and establish clear decision-making and accountability mechanisms.
- Disciplined, data-informed problem solving using quantitative and qualitative insights.
- High agency and sound judgment, including identifying opportunities and risks, acting quickly, and escalating thoughtfully.
- Alignment with Stripe’s principle of obsessing over talent.
- Curiosity, humility, continuous learning, and openness to changing course based on new evidence.

## Preferred Qualifications

- 10+ years of experience across a diverse portfolio of People programs, including talent management, organizational development, leadership or executive development, program and talent operations, and compensation and benefits.
- People product design and management experience in high-growth environments with fast iterative cycles, changing priorities, and ongoing feature requests and backlog management.
- Experience leading executive-level talent discussions that influence People strategy with humility, curiosity, and a grounded presence.
