> The Senior Data and AI Specialist will build agentic AI solutions, automated Python workflows, and analytics products across telecommunications data. The role requires at least five years of experience with SQL, data automation, BI tools, LLM agents, and data governance.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Agentic AI & Workflow Automation
- Architect, test, and deploy LLMs and agents to automate unstructured, multi-step data investigations.
- Build Python-based automated workflows that transform repetitive manual processes into scalable solutions.
- Develop single-user tools and multi-user workflows to improve human efficiency.
- Implement data architecture and AI orchestration frameworks focused on safety, accuracy, efficiency, and maintainability.

### Analytics, Modeling & Root Cause Analysis
- Perform SQL queries and multi-step analyses across complex telecommunications datasets to optimize gross margins, reduce fraud, and improve network quality.
- Design dashboards and repeatable BI solutions using Tableau, Looker, or Python.
- Define key performance indicators and track performance over time.

### Cross-Functional Leadership & Ownership
- Collaborate with Carrier Relations, Enterprise Technology, Product, Supply Operations, and Finance to translate business needs into data requirements and governance standards.
- Communicate insights that directly answer business questions.
- Own data products end to end, including requirements scoping, documentation, execution, and delivery.
- Deliver projects on time and to a high standard.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing technical data and automation solutions.
- Extensive experience with SQL and relational database schemas.
- Extensive experience with Google Sheets or Excel, Tableau, and/or Looker.
- Experience using Python, APIs, or workflow platforms such as Airtable, Coefficient, Zapier, or n8n to build automated data workflows and process pipelines.
- Experience building agents with tools such as Claude Code, Claude Cowork, OpenAI, or Gemini, and training LLM models to solve complex, multi-step, unstructured problems.
- Strong understanding of data management, governance, and hygiene.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to break down business problems into manageable pieces.
- Experience using technology safely with frameworks and metrics for accuracy, efficiency, maintainability, and safety.
- Familiarity with telecom, messaging, and voice networks.
- Experience in SaaS, technology, management consulting, or investment banking.
- Project management experience and ability to communicate requirements to data teams.
- Experience working with customers, vendors, and external partners.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Estimated annual pay range: $99,760.00 CAD–$124,700.00 CAD.
- Target bonus: 12.5%.

- Occasional travel may be required for project or team meetings.
