## Job Description

## What You’ll Do

- **Direct Team Leadership**: Lead and develop a high-performing team of senior engineers. Focus on accountability, growth, empowerment, and technical excellence, leading by example.
- **"Lead from the Trenches"**: Stay active in the codebase - writing production code, conducting deep architectural reviews, and designing scalable integration points. Balance people management with individual contributions.
- **Execution & Delivery**: Partner with Product Managers to translate business goals into technical roadmaps. Drive project momentum, navigate technical hurdles, and provide hands-on support.
- **Scale the Platform**: Drive transition to self-service model and oversee geographic expansion, ensuring performant infrastructure across global regions.
- **Evangelism**: Champion the platform, foster developer community, drive adoption through technical content, internal speaking, and partnerships.
- **AI Integration**: Work at intersection of workflow orchestration and Agentic AI for complex, natural-language-driven tasks.
- **Mentorship**: Coach engineers in sophisticated financial domain and career development.

## Who You Are

- **Experienced Leader**: 6+ years in platform development, 2+ years formal people management or team leadership.
- **Technical Practitioner**: Highly proficient in **Python** and **Java**. Comfortable solving technical hurdles.
- **Systems Architect**: Experience building robust, service-oriented architectures in cloud environments (**AWS** preferred).
- **Workflow Experience**: Familiarity with **Temporal**, **n8n**, **Pipedream**, or equivalent stateful orchestration systems (plus).
- **Agile + AI Advocate**: Prioritize iterative development, data-driven insights, AI technologies to streamline SDLC.
- **Bridge Builder**: Translate technical constraints into business outcomes for stakeholders.
