## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Provide scientific and programmatic support to the NIH National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke, including portfolio analysis, scientific coding, reporting, and funding-related activities.
- Conduct management, administrative, policy, process, and systems analysis to improve program efficiency.
- Collect, interpret, analyze, and condense information from scientific and programmatic sources; prepare reports, tables, charts, graphs, abstracts, posters, and presentations.
- Analyze grantee progress reports and develop presentations for program staff, leadership, grantee meetings, conferences, and committees.
- Support the development, planning, execution, tracking, and closeout of scientific programs and complex projects involving internal and external stakeholders.
- Plan and coordinate meetings, conferences, symposia, lectures, workshops, teleconferences, videoconferences, and committee activities, including agendas, registration, communications, logistics, and minutes.
- Organize and maintain project documentation, communications, action items, deadlines, milestones, deliverables, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, and reference materials.
- Conduct literature and database searches using PubMed, Web of Science, internet resources, and other information sources; manage bibliographic references.
- Draft, edit, proofread, and assemble programmatic documents, correspondence, agendas, reports, meeting materials, and background information.
- Communicate with principal investigators, program staff, network investigators, stakeholders, lecturers, presenters, and meeting participants.
- Represent programs at local and national meetings; prepare and deliver formal presentations and posters.
- Develop funding plans, milestones, budgets, strategic plans, solicitations, outreach strategies, reporting formats, databases, and recommendations for improving research program operations.
- Support website, database, communications, and program-management tool improvements.

## Requirements
- Master's degree required.
- Background in Biomedical Engineering, Neuroscience, or Cognitive Science and Biopsychology.
- Strong data collection and data analysis skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to conduct scientific literature, database, and internet searches and interpret scientific information.
- Ability to coordinate complex projects, meetings, and communications with multiple stakeholders.
- Strong writing, editing, organization, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual salary: $90,000–$95,000.
