## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives to own the sales process and shape technical strategy across opportunities from pipeline generation through closed-won.
- Lead customer discovery to uncover technical challenges, business goals, and success criteria, translating them into tailored Datadog solutions and measurable outcomes.
- Deliver product demonstrations, technical presentations, and solution workshops for technical, business, and executive stakeholders.
- Own technical evaluations (POVs) end-to-end, including scoping requirements, defining competitive success criteria, creating project plans, and maintaining accountability.
- Identify, develop, and leverage technical champions across multi-stakeholder environments.
- Provide customer and field insights to Product and Engineering teams through structured feedback sessions.
- Maintain accurate activity, deal-progress, and customer-interaction records in related systems.
- Resolve technical and organizational blockers by collaborating with Product, Support, and GTM teams.
- Mentor peers, share best practices, and create reusable enablement assets.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Sales Engineering, Solutions Engineering, or a technical customer-facing role in an enterprise environment.
- Ability to influence and adapt communication for technical, business, and executive audiences.
- Advanced experience with public cloud platforms, Kubernetes, APM/tracing, security, developer experience, and observability.
- Strong communication and consultative problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience mentoring peers or contributing to team enablement.
- Experience using and scaling AI tooling.
- Growth mindset and curiosity.
- Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagements.

## Compensation
- Estimated yearly salary: **$149,000–$198,000 USD**.
