## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Drive technical innovation to support automation and efficiency, serving both Stripe users and internal teams.
- Collaborate with user-facing teams to understand operational challenges and implement robust technical solutions.
- Design and implement features to power Stripe's global 24/7 support operation.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code with appropriate monitoring and observability.
- Build support for initiatives by sharing compelling data, and measure outcomes to demonstrate successful execution.
- Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to architectural decisions.
- Partner with product and design teams to deliver excellent user experiences.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 3+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years of experience in each of the following:
  - Building production software systems with well-tested code.
  - Front-end and back-end software development.
  - Designing, building, and maintaining functional applications including web-based agent tooling platforms, case management and routing systems.
  - Integrating and maintaining multiple systems and processes including cloud-based infrastructure platforms, database systems, API gateways, authentication systems, and CI/CD pipelines.
  - Developing software solutions that support internal operations or customer workflows.
  - Writing software in Ruby, React, or TypeScript.
  - Building and maintaining high-throughput API services.
  - Improving system performance and operational efficiency.

## Compensation
- Base salary: $161,637 - $213,800 per year.
- Additional benefits may include: equity, company bonus, 401(k) plan, medical/dental/vision benefits, wellness stipends.
- 40 hrs/week.
