## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and debug routing and retention of harnesses, cables, and connectors for ease of assembly, serviceability, and robust functionality.
- Perform hardware verification of built boards to confirm correct functionality.
- Debug hardware issues by probing test points and establishing root cause.
- Manage 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings for low-voltage, high-voltage, and high-speed vehicle interconnects using SolidWorks and Altium.
- Interface cross-functionally to drive program delivery.
- Work with OEMs, vendors, and partners to identify wire harness solutions for the vehicle platform.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Systems, Electrical, Hardware, Computer Science, or an equivalent program.
- 4+ years of experience in automotive wire harness design and electrical integration.
- Experience designing harnesses for low-voltage and high-voltage applications.
- Familiarity with automotive standards such as ISO 6722 and SAE J1128.
- Ability to source, manage, and maintain vendor and supplier relationships for harness manufacturing and materials.

## Nice to Have
- Knowledge of Capital and CATIA.
- Experience with CAD design, including 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings.
- Hands-on experience with harness crimping and end-to-end assembly of electrical test benches for system integration and validation.
- Experience with model development and simulation tools.
- Strong knowledge of automotive product development systems and design disciplines.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including the ability to present to wider audiences.
