> The HR Business Partner will support Cohere’s Modelling organization across Research and Engineering, advising leaders on organizational design, manager development, performance, talent, and employee experience. The role requires several years of HRBP or People Partner experience in fast-paced, technical, high-growth, and globally distributed organizations.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with the Modelling organization across Research and Engineering.
- Support leaders in building high-performing teams.
- Contribute to organizational design, leadership effectiveness, performance, talent strategy, employee experience, and organizational health.
- Build trusted relationships with leaders and teams.
- Take ownership and exercise sound judgment.
- Balance high standards with empathy.
- Solve complex people and organizational challenges.
- Move between strategy and execution.
- Communicate exceptionally well, particularly in asynchronous environments.
- Drive organizational design and team effectiveness.
- Coach managers and develop leadership capability.
- Support performance, talent, and succession discussions.
- Support employee engagement and retention.
- Contribute to the continued evolution of the People function.

## Requirements
- Several years of HRBP or People Partner experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience partnering with Engineering, Research, or other highly technical organizations.
- Experience in a startup, scale-up, or other high-growth company.
- Experience supporting globally distributed organizations.
- Exceptional written communication skills, with the ability to thrive in asynchronous environments.
- Willingness to learn, grow, and take on increasing ownership over time.
