## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop global Commercial, Digital Native, and Enterprise Solutions Engineering teams.
- Recruit and retain exceptional Solutions Engineering talent; develop future frontline leaders and senior individual contributors.
- Partner with Sales leadership on coverage, capacity, hiring priorities, organizational design, pipeline health, deal strategy, forecasting, resource allocation, and revenue outcomes.
- Establish standards for technical qualification and execution across discovery, demonstrations, proofs of value, and executive engagement.
- Maintain visibility into strategic deals, including requirements, risks, competition, stakeholders, and path to close; participate directly when needed.
- Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to improve field execution and translate customer feedback into product, positioning, enablement, and competitive insights.
- Establish metrics and operating cadences for technical win rates, proof-of-value conversion, sales-cycle efficiency, capacity, performance, deal reviews, coaching, pipeline inspection, and forecasting.
- Improve onboarding, ramp time, enablement, and career development across a globally distributed team.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a similar technical sales function.
- 5+ years of Solutions Engineering leadership experience, preferably in a high-growth or startup environment.
- Experience leading globally distributed technical sales teams supporting Commercial and complex Enterprise sales motions.
- Proven success hiring, developing, and retaining high-performing technical sales talent.
- Strong sales acumen, including pipeline management, forecasting, account strategy, capacity planning, and revenue accountability.
- Experience leading complex technical evaluations, proofs of value, competitive sales cycles, and executive customer engagements.
- Strong background in cybersecurity, application security, DevSecOps, developer tooling, or adjacent technical markets.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 25%.

## Nice to have
- Experience with static analysis, code scanning, software security, or security testing tools.

## Compensation
- Estimated starting annual salary: **$222,000–$277,000 USD**.
- Estimated uncapped on-target earnings: **$317,000–$396,000 USD**.
- Total compensation may also include equity and benefits.
