## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Execute defined test methods and protocols for design verification, sustaining changes, complaint investigations, and related product test activities.
- Collect, record, and organize test data; draft clear test reports addressing results, discrepancies, and follow-up needs.
- Support ad hoc engineering and bench-level testing during development and verification.
- Support QC testing for in-office builds, including incoming checks, screening, and documentation.
- Serve as first-line support for hardware-related complaint investigation testing.
- Maintain equipment records, track fixtures, coordinate calibration status, and keep the lab organized.
- Support test method validation protocols and formal studies.
- Prepare devices, samples, fixtures, scripts, and lab setups for automated and semi-automated test execution; monitor runs and document or escalate failures.
- Support assembly of prototypes, fixtures, and test setups, including minor modifications with standard lab and bench tools.
- Identify execution pain points and help improve repeatability, workflows, standardization, and automation support.
- Partner with Quality, R&D, engineers, and program stakeholders to complete testing on schedule and document it appropriately.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree, associate degree, technical certification, or equivalent practical experience in engineering, engineering technology, quality, or a related technical field.
- **2+ years of experience** in a test, lab, quality, manufacturing, or product development environment.
- Experience executing written procedures or protocols and documenting results clearly and traceably.
- Experience with sample tracking, equipment records, test documentation, and common lab equipment.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, quality partners, and program stakeholders.
- Strong written communication skills for documenting results, discrepancies, and observations.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Hardware verification, validation, sustaining, or complaint investigation experience.
- Experience in regulated product development, especially medical devices.
- Lab administration, calibration tracking, fixture control, or equipment management experience.
- QC testing, screening, or incoming-check experience for prototype hardware.
- Experience with automated or semi-automated test setups, scripts, or fixtures.
- Basic scripting skills for automated tests, log review, or failure triage.
- Familiarity with test methods, protocol execution, and formal report documentation.
- Root cause investigation or failure replication experience.
- Hands-on prototype, fixture, or bench test setup assembly and modification.
- Soldering and hot-air rework for PCBA modifications.
- Software or system-level test execution involving hardware and software.
