## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Set strategy for search, retrieval, and ranking, aligning engineering, data science, design, clinical, and executive stakeholders.
- Lead the experimentation program end to end, including hypotheses, objective functions, guardrail metrics, and honest readouts.
- Build data, evaluation, and machine-learning platform foundations for future matching work.
- Partner daily with ML engineers and data scientists on model objectives, features, and evaluation without directly writing models.
- Balance patient experience, provider growth, clinical quality, and payer-partnership priorities.
- Set the standard for technically grounded product work across the PM team.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of product management experience, including hands-on ownership of search, ranking, recommendations, or marketplace matching at scale.
- Experience shipping ML ranking or relevance systems to real users.
- Practical knowledge of objective-function design, feature development, and offline versus online evaluation.
- Ability to hold architecture discussions with ML engineers, challenge modeling assumptions, and make informed build-versus-buy decisions.
- Experience navigating marketplace trade-offs and allocating opportunity across a marketplace.
- Fluency in embeddings, semantic search, and LLM-powered products.
- Experience presenting strategy to executives and defending difficult decisions.
- Motivation to improve access to affordable mental healthcare.

## Compensation
- $265,000–$375,000 annual salary.
