## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop and execute corporate communications strategies supporting Pinterest’s reputation, business priorities, and corporate and financial storytelling.
- Lead communications for financial reporting, earnings, 8-K filings, M&A, and other business-critical events.
- Partner with Finance, Investor Relations, and Legal to shape narratives about company performance, growth priorities, and strategic milestones.
- Draft and edit press releases, messaging frameworks, Q&As, briefing documents, talking points, and executive materials.
- Build relationships with business, financial, and trade media and proactively shape coverage.
- Counsel senior stakeholders and executives on communications risks, opportunities, and timing.
- Support issues management and crisis communications during high-stakes situations.
- Translate complex product, business, and financial developments into clear stories for external audiences.
- Use AI-enabled tools and workflows to improve communications research, monitoring, briefing development, and execution.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in corporate communications, public relations, or a related field.
- Strong media instincts and established relationships with business, financial, and trade press.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, including experience producing polished materials for executives and external audiences.
- Experience using AI tools to improve the speed, quality, and insight of communications work, with accountability for accuracy.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- In-house experience at a global, publicly traded technology or platform company.
- Experience supporting communications across multiple business lines.
- Experience with advertising, monetization, or B2B platform storytelling.
- Familiarity with policy, trust and safety, or regulatory communications.

## Compensation
- Base salary: $146,561–$301,744 USD.
- Eligible for equity.
