## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Act as the primary bridge between the local Airbnb team and the Host Community, coordinating and prioritizing cross-functional community activities across the territory.
- Lead Community growth, engagement, and impact projects from planning through delivery, including project plans, stakeholder coordination, risk identification, and mitigation planning.
- Develop and execute local Community Programs with clear communication, efficient resource use, and strong project execution.
- Collaborate with Country Management, Policy, Legal, Communications, Marketing, Partnerships, Supply, and central Community teams.
- Coordinate the activities and daily operations of one Community Engagement Manager.
- Develop and test approaches for growing host communities across Spain and Portugal.
- Identify methods to recruit, onboard, and manage community leaders.
- Design train-the-trainer initiatives and content strategies to drive Host engagement and conversation.
- Support global Community Engagement Programming and adapt it to local languages and needs.
- Lead and organize online and in-person Community events.
- Identify country needs and develop in-market projects to drive Host success and business goals.
- Develop resources, communications, and training materials for cross-functional partners.
- Help regional stakeholders leverage and collaborate with the Host Community and test new opportunities.
- Influence regional prioritization, process improvement, and program feedback.
- Develop expertise in assigned markets and provide insight into local needs, trends, and market dynamics.
- Partner with Supply teams to optimize host performance across quality, pricing, and availability.
- Drive host engagement and education on short-term-rental regulatory compliance with Policy and Legal teams.

## Requirements

- **10+ years** of experience in Community Management, Strategy, Innovation, Operations, or Project Management.
- Strong strategic project management skills and experience leading programs and processes.
- Ability to align Community goals with business goals through a strategic business lens.
- Familiarity with regulatory environments.
- Entrepreneurial, solution-oriented, and growth-minded approach.
- Highly autonomous and self-driven.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence through persuasion, negotiation, and consensus building.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Spanish mother tongue and fluent English.
- Based in Barcelona.

## Nice to Have

- Fluency in Portuguese.
- Experience as an Airbnb host.

## Compensation and Benefits

- Spain annual base pay range: **€80,000–€100,000 EUR**.
- The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
