## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and evolve a world-class developer platform and CI service powering Snowflake repositories.
- Set technical standards for elastic, large-scale, highly performant CI infrastructure with simplicity at core.
- Drive strategy, partner with product managers on quarterly and long-term roadmaps.
- Ensure execution meets current customer needs while anticipating future technological trends.

## Requirements
- 5+ years industry experience designing and building distributed data systems.
- Track record of technical leadership.
- Experience working on enterprise-grade Continuous Integration for Cloud-based distributed systems.
- Strong CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, distributed systems.
- Fluency in **Java**, **C++**, **Python**, or **Go**.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate, mentor junior engineers.
- Strategic mindset, prioritization for maximum impact.
- Excellent communication skills.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Developing data or distributed systems internals.
- Experience with **Jenkins**, **ArgoCD**, or other CI suites.
- Multi-tenant systems (reliability, performance, isolation, security).
- Authoring roadmap documents, project plans, RCAs.
