## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Growth Product and Engineering to drive measurable impact across acquisition, conversion, direct deposit, engagement, and long-term retention.
- Act as an independent thought partner to Product, Engineering, and Design, shaping strategy and identifying opportunities and risks.
- Develop experimentation and A/B testing programs, including metric creation, experiment design, power analysis, and results analysis.
- Equip product managers and engineers with self-service analytics tools and conduct ad hoc analyses and causal studies.
- Apply causal inference, time-series analysis, forecasting, and occasional machine learning methods such as customer segmentation.
- Build metrics for user funnels, product engagement, and retention.
- Establish high-quality event tracking for detailed user behaviors across customer journeys in the mobile app.
- Develop team metrics and operational dashboards to track business and product health.
- Translate complex analytical findings into executive-ready narratives.
- Develop robust data pipelines in dbt and improve customer data quality and accessibility.

## Requirements
- 5–7 years of relevant hands-on experience in product or business analytics; FinTech experience is a plus.
- Expert-level SQL and proficiency in Python.
- Knowledge of applied statistics, experimental design, and A/B test analysis.
- Experience applying machine learning techniques to business use cases.
- Experience advising senior cross-functional partners and influencing decisions through data and judgment.
- Strong proactive problem-discovery, business intuition, and prioritization skills.
- Exceptional data storytelling and data visualization abilities.
- Experience with Hex and Looker.
- Familiarity with data pipelines using dbt or Airflow.
- Familiarity with AI coding tools such as Claude Code and Cursor.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary: **$133,000–$185,000**.
- Full-time employees are eligible for a bonus, competitive equity package, and benefits.

- The in-office policy generally includes four days per week in the office and Fridays from home for employees near an office; fully remote options may be available depending on program and location.
