## Job Description

## Product Documentation
- Write and maintain user guides, API documentation, technical specifications, and other product-related content.

## Collaboration
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and designers to gather information and ensure accurate documentation of features and updates.

## Documentation Standards
- Help establish and improve documentation processes and best practices across the company.

## User-Centered Writing
- Write clear, concise, and accurate documentation aimed at various audiences, from developers to non-technical users.
- Maintain a consistent voice, a clear and engaging tone, and a solid grasp of grammar and usage rules.

## Content Review
- Edit and review documentation produced by other team members to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency.

## Continuous Improvement
- Continuously update and improve documentation as new product features are developed or existing ones are updated.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in technical writing
- Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts
- Experience with docs as code
- Basic understanding of software development, APIs, and web technologies
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders
- Experience with documentation tools such as Markdown, Confluence, GitHub, or similar platforms
- High attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

## Nice-to-Haves
- Familiarity with common programming languages and development tools
- Familiarity with version control systems
- Experience in a startup environment or at a Series A/B tech company

## Compensation & Benefits
- Annual salary range: $150,000 - $195,000
