## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead business and solution discovery with Account Executives to understand customer workflows, pain points, priorities, and desired outcomes.
- Deliver tailored demonstrations connecting platform capabilities to customer problems and business outcomes.
- Solution across trade promotion planning, deductions, accruals, forecasting, reporting, profitability, and related CPG workflows.
- Translate complex customer processes into future-state workflows.
- Engage stakeholders across Sales, Accounting, Finance, Operations, IT, and executive leadership.
- Understand customers’ technology and data environments, including ERP systems, retailer and distributor data, syndicated data, and related systems.
- Partner with Integration Solutions Engineering on technical discovery and integration feasibility.
- Identify implementation dependencies, solution gaps, risks, and customer-readiness considerations before closing.
- Align proposed solutions and customer expectations with platform capabilities.
- Document workflows, requirements, assumptions, decisions, and commitments, and provide structured handoffs to Solution Architecture after closing.
- Develop reusable demonstrations, discovery frameworks, solution patterns, and enablement.
- Share CPG expertise and recurring customer feedback with Product, Customer Experience, and Sales.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Solutions Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or a similar customer-facing solution role.
- Experience solutioning complex business, commercial, or financial workflows.
- Strong communication, presentation, consultative discovery, and storytelling skills.
- Ability to understand business operations, identify underlying problems, and recommend improved approaches.
- Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, Sage, QuickBooks, or similar platforms.
- Technical curiosity regarding integrations, APIs, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Ability to learn and demonstrate complex SaaS applications quickly.
- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing priorities, and create structure in ambiguous environments.
- Strong judgment about when to involve Product, Integrations, Solution Architecture, or other subject-matter experts.

## Nice-to-haves
- Consumer packaged goods industry experience.
- Trade Promotion Management experience.
- Experience with revenue, accounting, forecasting, payments, or financial reporting workflows.
- Experience as a Solutions Engineer, Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or with TPM/RGM technology.
