## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Core Finance Systems
- Own finance systems strategy, configuration, and roadmap.
- Lead implementation and ongoing administration of finance systems and tools.
- Own finance system integrations end to end, ensuring clean data flow between ERP, planning, billing, and related systems.
- Partner with contractors or vendor customer success managers on hands-on technical configuration as needed.

### Cross-Functional Systems
- Partner with People on HRIS and payroll systems, ensuring accurate data flow between HRIS, payroll, and ERP.
- Partner with Sales and Revenue Operations on CPQ and commission systems, ensuring pricing, quoting, and commission calculations connect cleanly to billing and revenue recognition.
- Advise across finance-adjacent tools, including systems administered by other teams.

### Automation and Process Improvement
- Identify and build automation across manual finance workflows, including data reconciliation and reporting.
- Partner with Data Analytics on automation initiatives where relevant.
- Evaluate new tools and system enhancements and build business cases for investment.
- Document system architecture and workflows.

### Governance and Controls
- Manage system access, permissions, and controls in partnership with Accounting and IT.
- Support audit requests related to systems and automated controls.

## Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in finance systems, business systems, or a related systems administration role.
- Experience implementing or administering a financial planning tool.
- Experience integrating systems across finance and adjacent functions, such as HRIS/payroll or CPQ/commissions.
- Strong technical aptitude, including the ability to build automation and workflows and direct contractors or vendor customer success managers on configuration work.
- Strong cross-functional partnership skills across Accounting, FP&A, People, Sales and Revenue Operations, and Legal.
- Ability to operate as a systems generalist across a broad technology stack.
- Based in San Francisco or New York and able to work in person at least 3 days per week.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with CPQ and commission systems.
- Experience with HRIS/payroll systems.
- Experience at a high-growth, venture-backed technology company.
- Experience building automation with AI tools or low-code/no-code platforms.
- Exposure to SOX controls in a revenue cycle context.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation of $215,000–$275,000 annually, plus meaningful equity.
