> The Startup Account Executive will prospect for, close, and expand startup customer accounts while managing transactional and strategic sales processes. The role requires at least one year of closing experience, technology or SaaS sales background, and a record of exceeding quotas.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build a territory plan within 30 days with a clear account prioritization strategy.
- Align new and existing customers with the Lakehouse vision and ecosystem.
- Manage both faster transactions and large strategic deals.
- Meet and exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets through prospecting.
- Maintain Salesforce and Clari hygiene, including use cases, MEDDPICC, revenue forecasts, and account notes.
- Lead with a customer-first mindset and focus on business value.
- Close new accounts while expanding existing accounts.

## Requirements
- 1+ years of closing sales experience.
- Prior experience in big data, cloud, or SaaS sales.
- Ability to quickly learn new technologies and value propositions.
- Experience exceeding sales KPIs and quotas.
- Success closing new accounts while working with existing accounts.
