## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build trusted relationships with C-level executives and technical decision-makers, providing business and technical thought leadership.
- Define customer strategy, identify and close complex opportunities, and accelerate solution adoption.
- Understand customer objectives and design Stripe solutions, transformation journeys, roadmaps, architectures, and third-party integrations.
- Conduct business analysis and research on customers, industries, and competitors.
- Lead discovery, executive briefings, presentations, solution demos, and strategy engagements to secure technical wins.
- Expand Stripe adoption across global markets and business units, including local payment methods.
- Represent customer insights, trends, and opportunities to leadership, product, and engineering teams.
- Participate in sales forecasting, Quarterly Business Reviews, account planning, and territory planning.
- Provide technical expertise on Stripe’s platform and its benefits for platforms and their customers.
- Manage pre-sales projects, proof-of-concept development, and feasibility checks.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a customer-facing engineering role such as solution consultant, solutions architect, or sales engineer at a global software enterprise.
- Executive engagement, group facilitation, presentation, written communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Understanding of the software development lifecycle and API architecture.
- Ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Understanding of Stripe Connect, Payments, and Billing systems and their integration methodologies.
- Ability to understand interactions among ERP, CRM, billing, tax, and legacy systems in platform technology ecosystems.
- Strong organization and time-management skills while managing multiple strategic opportunities and customers.

## Nice-to-haves
- Payments-domain expertise and experience architecting solutions for platform customers.
- Experience driving technical sales with enterprise-scale platforms.
- Experience integrating Stripe or other RESTful APIs into web applications.
- Experience designing, building, and deploying complex applications.
