## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and ship core product features and infrastructure across the product.
- Collaborate with teammates, communicate openly, exchange thoughtful feedback, and learn from cross-functional experts.
- Take ownership of priorities and drive initiatives forward in a high-trust environment.
- Interview users, analyze feedback, and help prioritize the product roadmap.
- Set up, conduct, and synthesize user research studies to inform use cases and product improvements.
- Design and prototype novel interfaces that make software-building workflows more intuitive and efficient.

## Requirements
- Clear design process, including identifying the right problems, evaluating multiple solutions, and communicating tradeoffs.
- Excellent visual, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong collaboration and organizational skills across synchronous and asynchronous work.
- Systems-thinking ability to break down complex problems and create simple interfaces for difficult tasks.
- Ability to identify recurring product patterns and abstract them into common interactions.
- Ability to deliver pixel-perfect designs and iterate until the experience feels right.
- Strong interaction-design skills focused on responsive systems rather than static screens.
- Customer-focused approach with strong empathy for users and a commitment to validating product value.
- 8+ years of experience in a relevant role.
