## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and enhance frontend features: Develop end-to-end functionality using modern frameworks like **React**, **Next.js**, **TypeScript**, and **Node.js**.
- Design for scalability and performance: Architect reliable systems and APIs that handle large, real-time datasets efficiently. Optimize both frontend and backend performance to deliver fast, seamless user experiences under heavy load.
- Collaborate across disciplines: Work closely with product, design, and engineering teams to validate designs, integrate APIs such as **tRPC**, and deliver features that are both technically sound and user-centric.
- Drive technical excellence: Contribute to the architecture and direction of our platform, mentor early-career engineers, and stay current with emerging technologies in data and system design to continuously improve our stack.

## Skills that accelerate us
- **Full-Stack Expertise**: Experience in **React**, **Next.js**, and **TypeScript**, and/or backend experience in **Java**, **Go**, or **Rust**.
- **System Design & APIs**: Skilled in building scalable distributed systems and integrating **RESTful** or **GraphQL** APIs.
- **Performance & Data**: Experienced in optimizing large, real-time datasets and ensuring smooth, responsive interfaces.
- **UI & Visualization**: Familiarity with **Tailwind CSS**, **Radix UI**, data visualization tools, and **WebGL** experience is a plus.
- **Collaboration**: Communicates clearly across technical and non-technical teams.

## Compensation
The base pay range for this role is **$130,000 – $230,000 per year**.
