## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS customer agreements, order forms, partner and reseller agreements, vendor and procurement contracts, NDAs, and data processing agreements.
- Establish contracting and organizational processes to improve efficiency as the company scales.
- Support Sales and Partnerships teams by gathering context and ensuring agreements are drafted accurately and efficiently.
- Support deal desk operations, including contract intake, review, approval workflows, and moving deals to signature.
- Improve contract templates, playbooks, fallback positions, and negotiation guidelines.
- Speak with customers and counterparties to resolve questions and advance negotiations.
- Track and triage a high volume of contracts and requests while balancing speed and attention to detail.
- Take on other ad hoc projects as needed.

## Requirements
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree or foreign equivalent, with a strong academic record.
- Admission to practice law in New York State in good standing, or willingness and ability to waive into New York.
- Approximately 1–3 years of legal experience involving commercial and transactional work, at a law firm and/or in-house.
- Strong legal drafting and research skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers and outside parties.
- Ability to source and interpret information, add relevant context, and provide actionable recommendations.
- Strong organization and rigorous attention to detail.
- Mathematical aptitude and financial literacy sufficient to partner effectively with Sales and Finance.
- Ability to own deadlines with minimal supervision and work collaboratively with others.
- Startup mindset, strong ownership, and willingness to work with urgency in a fast-growing company.
- Willingness to work in person at the New York City headquarters 4–5 days per week.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: **$160,000–$175,000**.
