## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build and maintain market data components, including feed handlers, normalization pipelines, distribution systems, and venue connectivity.
- Design and implement low-latency, high-throughput services for real-time market data consumed by trading systems.
- Drive reliability and performance improvements through observability, on-call participation, and incident response.
- Write high-quality, well-tested code and contribute to engineering standards.
- Partner with engineers, product managers, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver institutional trading capabilities.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of backend engineering experience building and maintaining production low-latency systems.
- Hands-on experience with market data infrastructure, such as feed handlers, normalization, or distribution.
- Proficiency in low-latency Java or C++.
- Familiarity with high-throughput messaging frameworks such as Aeron or SBE.
- Familiarity with venue/exchange connectivity and market data protocols, including FIX, ITCH/OUCH, or multicast.
- Experience shipping features end-to-end and operating production systems.
- Responsible use of generative AI with human oversight.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary: $191,250–$225,000 USD.
- Equity and bonus eligibility may be included.
