## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Drive daily customer outreach across email, phone, and social channels to generate qualified expansion pipeline.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned customer portfolio and help customers gain more value from Brex.
- Identify and advance expansion opportunities by connecting solutions to measurable business outcomes.
- Lead structured discovery calls; develop commercial proposals and negotiate rewards, pricing, and other deal terms.
- Understand customer workflows, accounting processes, and financial priorities to uncover pain points and drive adoption.
- Build relationships with finance stakeholders, including Controllers and CFOs; tailor value messaging, surface risks, and recommend action plans.
- Partner with Underwriting, Deal Desk, and internal account teams to balance customer needs with commercial impact.
- Maintain forecasting, CRM hygiene, activity tracking, opportunity qualification, and stakeholder communication.
- Share recurring customer feedback and insights internally to improve the product and customer experience.

## Requirements
- 2+ years of customer-facing experience in sales, hospitality, customer service, or a related field.
- Experience in a general sales role or demonstrated interest in building a sales career.
- Strong urgency and adaptability in live customer conversations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence internal partners based on customer needs.
- Coachability, resilience, and a growth mindset.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience managing a book of business, account health, executive relationships, renewals, expansions, or new-business acquisition.
- Familiarity with finance workflows, ERPs, spend-management platforms, or AP automation tools.
- Experience in fintech, payments, corporate accounting, financial systems, or credit-card management.
- Knowledge of credit limits, rewards, and underwriting.
- Experience in a high-growth startup environment.
- Comfort building relationships across seniority levels and functions.
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Gong.
- Experience building creative processes, using AI to improve efficiency, or finding resourceful ways to deliver results.

## Compensation
- Expected OTE range: **$82,535–$92,852 USD**.
- OTE includes base compensation and commissions, which may or may not be earned depending on performance.
- As an hourly employee, overtime is paid when applicable.
- Equity and other forms of compensation may be provided depending on the position offered.
