## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead post-LOI confirmatory diligence across legal, finance, product, engineering, and research teams.
- Develop acquisition-specific due diligence frameworks covering technical assets, talent, intellectual property, and organizational fit.
- Own integration-readiness assessments and provide go/no-go recommendations to deal sponsors.
- Coordinate technical evaluations of product-market fit, code quality, and team capabilities.
- Design end-to-end integration plans covering organizational structure, reporting lines, tooling migration, product-roadmap alignment, and day-one continuity.
- Build and maintain a reusable integration playbook, including templates, best practices, and decision frameworks.
- Develop integration timelines and milestones with product, engineering, HR, IT, and legal stakeholders.
- Facilitate relationships between acquired teams and internal stakeholders.
- Model financial and operational scenarios and develop contingency plans.
- Drive day-one and day-100 execution, track milestones, and escalate blockers to executives.
- Serve as the primary transition contact for acquired teams.
- Partner with HR and people managers on onboarding and retention plans for key talent.
- Conduct post-integration retrospectives and measure results against deal theses.
- Build and report integration KPIs, including retention, product milestones, and operational readiness.

## Requirements
- Strong technical fluency from software engineering, product experience, or evaluating technical organizations and codebases.
- Ability to build cross-functional relationships across product, engineering, legal, HR, and finance.
- Ability to translate strategy into operational plans with timelines, owners, and accountability.
- Ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams in ambiguous, fast-paced environments.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentations.
- Alignment with the mission of building reliable, interpretable, and steerable AI systems.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- 10+ years of corporate development or M&A integration experience preferred.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience at high-growth technology companies leading post-acquisition integrations.
- Experience in AI/ML companies or deep learning research environments.
- Experience building corporate development integration functions, playbooks, and repeatable processes.
- Acquihire integration experience, particularly technical-talent retention.
- MBA or advanced technical degree in computer science or an equivalent field.
- Experience managing multiple simultaneous integrations with competing timelines.
- International or cross-border transaction integration experience.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: **$325,000–$425,000 USD**.
