## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build AI-powered product experiences that help users create, configure, evaluate, and improve workflows across North.
- Design and ship interfaces for interacting with models, including workflow builders, proactive assistants, review flows, and human-AI collaboration patterns.
- Build evaluation, observability, and feedback systems that measure success in real enterprise workflows.
- Improve AI reliability through product design, prompting, context construction, tool-use strategies, instrumentation, and feedback loops.
- Turn production failures, user feedback, and real-task data into improved product behavior, evaluation suites, regression tests, and modeling signals.
- Collaborate with modeling, product, design, customer teams, and domain experts to define success for specific workflows and ship measurable improvements.
- Determine whether a workflow needs a more constrained product experience, improved model interface, stronger evaluation, or deeper modeling investment.

## Requirements
- Experience shipping LLM-powered, agent-powered, or AI-assisted product experiences into production and improving them based on real-world feedback.
- Strong software engineering skills across backend systems, user-facing products, data, evaluations, and model behavior.
- Ability to focus on user outcomes and system behavior, not only model metrics.
- Strong product judgment and care for how interfaces, workflows, and models work together.
- Ability to debug messy real-world failures and turn findings from production, user testing, and evaluations into durable improvements.
- Ability to own ambiguous problems end-to-end and work across system boundaries.

## Compensation
- California, New York, and Washington State: **$180,000–$260,000 USD**
- Elsewhere in the United States: **$150,000–$220,000 USD**
- Canada: **$215,000–$310,000 CAD**
