## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Design and build data pipelines that ingest data from varied internal sources into a central warehouse.
- Design performant, well-documented data models and schemas that can evolve with changing data and analytical needs.
- Build data quality checks and validation into every pipeline stage so bad data is identified before reaching downstream tables.
- Handle sensitive customer and user data responsibly through access control, redaction, and retention policies.
- Partner with product, engineering, finance, and revenue stakeholders to scope data sources and analytical tables.
- Enable teams to self-serve the data they need.

## Requirements
- Builder mentality and experience creating zero-to-one products.
- Expertise in data modeling and SQL.
- Extensive experience building data pipelines in Python or Go.
- Experience with a cloud data warehouse such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
- Experience with pipeline orchestration or transformation tooling.
- Experience handling sensitive data, including access control and data retention practices.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies.
- Comfort changing areas of focus and working directly with stakeholders.
- Collaborative, transparent, and feedback-oriented approach.

## Nice to Have
- Go is your preferred programming language.
- Background in mathematics or statistics.
- Knowledge of Airflow, dbt, or similar tools.
