## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Manage procurement and strategic sourcing for professional services, including consulting, marketing, legal, communications, events, media, and other external services.
- Develop and execute sourcing initiatives to optimize cost and service quality.
- Own the end-to-end procurement lifecycle from needs assessment through contract execution.
- Lead RFP/RFQ development, vendor evaluation, and supplier selection.
- Develop and implement professional services category-management strategies.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and supplier benchmarking.
- Drive cost-optimization initiatives and track savings realization.
- Manage contract renewals, amendments, and terminations.
- Negotiate with and manage professional services vendors.
- Evaluate supplier performance and conduct ongoing sourcing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations.
- Coordinate with Accounting on purchase-order management and payment processes.
- Maintain procurement documentation and internal controls.
- Partner with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and business stakeholders to align procurement strategies with business objectives.
- Prepare reports on procurement performance, savings, and vendor management.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in procurement, finance, business, or a related field.
- 8–10 years of progressive procurement experience.
- Experience leading procurement for professional services categories.
- Strong strategic sourcing and negotiation skills.
- Experience managing vendor relationships and contracts.
- Experience with category management and strategic sourcing methodologies.
- Strong supplier risk assessment and mitigation skills.
- Experience conducting market research, benchmarking, RFPs, and competitive analysis.
- Experience with supplier evaluation, selection, and performance management.
- Track record of cost optimization and savings achievement.
- Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence stakeholders and drive procurement initiatives.
- Experience with procure-to-pay processes.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Omnea.
- Professional certification in procurement or supply chain.

## Compensation and Benefits
- 12-month fixed-term contract with potential conversion to a permanent role based on business needs and performance; conversion is not automatic.
