## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Financial Modeling & Investment Analysis
- Develop and maintain ROI-driven financial models for strategic initiatives, including incremental headcount requests, productivity modeling, and product and platform investments.
- Support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range planning, focusing on cost structure, operating leverage, and spend efficiency.

### Product Finance & Performance Insights
- Track and analyze metrics including cost to serve, unit economics, productivity, staffing models, and margin drivers at the product or initiative level.
- Partner with Customer Success, Support, and Sales teams on roadmap prioritization, sequencing decisions, and investment tradeoffs.
- Provide scenario-based analysis to quantify the financial impact of technology, tooling, and staffing optimization solutions.

### Business Partnering
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, Customer Success, and Support teams to understand financial impacts and provide guidance for forecasting and modeling.

### Scenario Planning & Ad Hoc Analysis
- Develop and analyze financial scenarios to assess potential outcomes and risks.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analysis to support strategic projects.

### External Communication Support
- Assist with investor materials, presentations, and analyses for external discussions as needed.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in product finance, corporate finance, investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
- Strong preference for experience in a SaaS or technology company.
- Deep understanding of SaaS metrics, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and subscription-based business models.
- Expert-level proficiency in financial modeling using Excel or Google Sheets, with the ability to build robust, scalable, and dynamic models from scratch.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to synthesize complex data into clear, concise, actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presenting complex financial information to senior leadership.
- Strong business acumen and strategic mindset.
- Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Master's degree or CFA.
- Proficiency with FP&A software such as Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, Hyperion, or Vena Solutions.
- Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary range: **$110,000–$130,000 USD**.
- Employees may also be eligible for an annual bonus or commission; some roles may be eligible for overtime pay.
