## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed quarterly and annual sales quotas through new business acquisition and upselling to existing clients.
- Manage complex sales processes from prospecting and lead qualification through demos, contract negotiation, and deal closure.
- Develop and maintain long-term relationships with stakeholders, including C-level executives.
- Create and implement territory plans and account strategies to identify growth opportunities in the commercial and mid-market segments.
- Collaborate with sales engineering, customer success, and marketing teams to support successful client onboarding and solution adoption.
- Maintain deep knowledge of Kong's products, services, and the competitive landscape to deliver tailored solutions.

## Requirements
- 2–5+ years of proven B2B sales experience, preferably in high-growth SaaS or IT environments.
- Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce and sales engagement tools.

## Nice to Have
- Familiarity with the MEDDICC or MEDPICC sales methodology.
