## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end research for new incubation areas, from framing questions through delivering recommendations.
- Use appropriate qualitative and quantitative methods to deliver fast, actionable insights.
- Triangulate across data sources and prior learnings to identify reliable signals in ambiguous, fast-moving spaces.
- Balance speed and rigor, delivering quick reads when teams need to move and deeper studies when decisions warrant them.
- Partner with Product, Design, Business Operations, and Data Science to shape strategy through research insights.
- Communicate clearly and persuasively with stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
- Develop compelling narratives that make users’ needs, pain points, and opportunities clear.
- Lead brainstorming sessions and workshops that translate research insights into product decisions and strategy.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of research experience, with expertise in both qualitative and quantitative methods.
- Experience using AI tools for user research.
- Ability to run statistical analysis and design and analyze surveys.
- Experience leading foundational qualitative studies.
- Track record of delivering impactful insights in ambiguous, early-stage, or fast-changing problem spaces.
- Proven ability to work directly with senior leadership and influence strategy.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong multitasking skills and ability to own multiple projects at different stages simultaneously.
- Degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Science, Psychology, Statistics, or equivalent practical experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with 0-to-1 or incubation products.
- Familiarity with Claude Code.
- SQL proficiency and comfort working directly with data.
- Background in consumer products and/or hospitality.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base pay range: **$180,000–$224,000 USD**.
- May also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
