> The Solutions Engineer partners with Sales to deliver technical presentations, evaluations, and customer enablement while translating customer requirements into Grafana solutions. The role requires at least five years of technical pre-sales experience and location in France.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Partner with the Sales team to articulate Grafana’s value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
- Own technical customer engagement and help close complex opportunities through competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
- Deliver product and technical presentations to prospective and existing customers.
- Communicate with customers and internal teams to provide product and competitive landscape feedback.
- Drive product conversations based on customer needs and problems.
- Enhance documentation, write blog posts, record videos, contribute knowledge base articles, and create other enablement materials.

## Requirements

- 5+ years of technical pre-sales experience.
- Strong judgment, collaboration, and leadership across varied and complex assignments.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to articulate the company’s value proposition and the technical advantages of its products.
- Enjoyment of solving technical challenges and developing creative customer solutions.
- Technical mindset and desire to grow technically.
- Must be located in France.

## Nice-to-Haves

- Experience with open-source technologies or metrics and monitoring.
- Experience with sales methodologies such as MEDD(P)ICC.

## Compensation and Benefits

- On-target earnings in France: **EUR 103,750–128,000**.
- Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).
- 30 days of annual leave per year, including 3 Grafana Shutdown Days, subject to local legislation.
