## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead policy development for host and guest quality, including Ground Rules and quality standards for stays.
- Draft clear, scalable policy frameworks that keep pace with product innovation.
- Collaborate with Product, Supply, Community Support, Legal, and other cross-functional stakeholders.
- Guide policy operationalization efforts.
- Support company quality initiatives with risk-mitigation guidance and policy deliverables.
- Use data, research, and community insights to evaluate policies, identify improvement opportunities, and drive revisions proactively.

## Requirements
- 10–12+ years of experience in policy or Trust & Safety.
- Leadership experience in quality, standards, or community policy, including defining and enforcing quality standards at scale.
- Experience with review, rating, or reputation systems and related fairness and integrity issues.
- Experience designing policies for consumer-facing two-sided marketplaces.
- Strong critical thinking, research, analysis, writing, communication, presentation, and attention-to-detail skills.
- Data analysis and data-driven decision-making experience.
- Business judgment, strategic thinking, and ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Ability to translate policy requirements into practical solutions that support business objectives.
- Experience working in a matrixed organization and driving complex cross-functional solutions.
- Ability to explain and simplify complex information.

## Compensation
- Base pay range: **$168,000–$207,000 USD annually**.
- May also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.
