## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the New York City event portfolio, including strategy, budget, execution, and reporting.
- Select and tier tradeshows against target accounts; design booth experiences and manage pre-show outreach and post-show follow-up.
- Build sustained relationships with New York City practitioner communities and peer networks.
- Partner with Product and Engineering on hackathons that build technical credibility and product adoption.
- Curate executive dinners for senior buyers in partnership with Sales, including account-based invitations and conversion-focused follow-up.
- Design sports, culture, and dining hospitality experiences tied to named deals, with allocation and compliance guardrails.
- Build, negotiate, and defend budgets covering vendors, venues, sponsorships, software, and agencies.
- Report program performance, communicate results to the GTM team, and create repeatable playbooks, templates, and SLAs.

## Requirements
- 4–7 years of experience in field marketing, events, or experiential marketing, including B2B sales-led marketing.
- Experience independently running events end to end with minimal oversight.
- Experience across multiple event formats, from large tradeshows to small executive dinners.
- Strong Sales partnership, account-based invite-list development, prioritization, and follow-up skills.
- Data fluency, including account and performance analysis and cost-per-meeting measurement.
- Strong vendor, venue, and agency negotiation skills.
- Excellent presentation and executive communication skills.
- Based in New York City, with willingness to work evenings and travel to EMEA.

## Nice to Have
- Experience with technical or developer audiences, hackathons, or builder communities.
- Existing New York City venue, agency, and community relationships.
- Experience marketing or selling to finance and accounting leaders.
- Experience mentoring junior marketers or managing agency teams.
