## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own video production from concept through final cut, including ideation, scripting, pre-production, filming, lighting, sound, editing, and delivery.
- Develop repeatable video series and original formats highlighting people, culture, products, customers, and perspectives on AI.
- Produce creative product launches, customer stories, case studies, technical explainers, demos, interviews, and educational developer content.
- Capture employee profiles, founder content, office moments, off-sites, conferences, and industry events.
- Repurpose productions for YouTube, LinkedIn, X, TikTok, and paid campaigns.
- Create motion graphics, animation, and other visual elements to clarify product stories.
- Experiment with emerging AI tools for animation, asset generation, editing, and production.
- Partner with marketing, engineering, developer relations, founders, sales, customers, and other teams.
- Build production workflows, recommend equipment, organize assets, and establish external production support.

## Requirements
- Strong portfolio demonstrating work personally produced, filmed, and edited; clearly explain responsibilities for each project.
- High standards for video quality and craft, including framing, sound, pacing, design, and editing.
- Curiosity about AI and technology, with an ability to communicate human stories behind technical products.
- Strong storytelling and narrative development instincts.
- Ability to direct non-professional on-camera talent and help them appear natural and confident.
- Demonstrated ownership of projects from concept through completion.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience as the sole or first video hire at an early-stage or high-growth startup.
- Multidisciplinary background in video, photography, design, journalism, writing, or social content.
- Experience in media, digital publications, newsrooms, documentary production, or creator-led channels.
- Experience producing content for technical, developer, or B2B audiences.
- Experience filming customer interviews, events, conferences, or documentary-style stories.
- Experience building or growing a social or YouTube channel and understanding format, pacing, packaging, and distribution performance.

## Compensation
- Annual salary: $130,000-$160,000.
