## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end product design across mobile and web experiences, including problem framing, information architecture, user flows, interaction design, and polished production-ready UI.
- Design the highest-stakes product surfaces across membership, commerce, onboarding, activation, re-engagement, and daily supplement routines.
- Own and scale the design system, including components, patterns, tokens, and documentation.
- Enable a fast-moving engineering team to ship consistent, high-quality work with less design review overhead.
- Optimize critical funnels using research, user feedback, and product analytics; define success metrics and evaluate outcomes.
- Improve the connection between SuppCo and Function Health, linking biomarker insights to supplement actions.
- Design AI-native conversational and agentic experiences, including AI-guided discovery.
- Present design decisions, alternatives, tradeoffs, and expected outcomes to founders, executives, and the broader company.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of product design experience.
- Track record of shipping consumer mobile products.
- Portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft in typography, layout, motion, and visual detail.
- Experience building, scaling, or materially improving an adopted design system.
- Strong systems thinking across components, flows, information architecture, and end-to-end journeys.
- Strong presentation, writing, communication, and persuasion skills.
- Experience with commerce, subscriptions, or transactional products, including purchase paths, merchandising, or membership experiences.
- Fluency with AI tools and experience designing products where AI contributes to decision-making.
- Ability to work independently, conduct research, and operate effectively in ambiguity.
- Passion for health, wellness, and products that measurably improve people's lives.

## Nice to Haves
- Prototyping in code or with AI tools.
- Background in health, wellness, nutrition, diagnostics, or supplements.
- Marketplace or e-commerce design experience, including search, browse, product detail pages, or checkout.
- Experience designing data-dense consumer interfaces such as scores, charts, or lab results.
- Experience with community, social, or content-discovery products.
- Experience with habit-forming products, including tracking, streaks, reminders, or adherence.
- Brand and visual identity experience beyond product UI.
- Experience at early-stage startups from seed through Series B.
