## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Prepare assigned balance sheet reconciliations and post journal entries as part of the monthly close.
- Process accounts payable, including entering vendor bills, verifying approvals and coding, and preparing payment runs.
- Manage accounts receivable by generating customer invoices, applying cash receipts, and following up on outstanding balances.
- Support accurate revenue recording and billing in coordination with the revenue team.
- Maintain organized documentation and support schedules for audits and internal reviews.
- Partner with FP&A, Payroll, and external partners such as KPMG.
- Contribute to team initiatives, process improvements, and strategic goals.
- Use AI and automation to streamline accounting work and reduce manual tasks.

## Requirements
- At least 1 year of accounting experience, or a completed accounting internship with relevant coursework.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Working knowledge of core accounting concepts, including month-end close and account reconciliations.
- Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet recurring close deadlines.
- Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- Adaptability, initiative, curiosity, and a continuous learning mindset.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP.
- Exposure to a SaaS or subscription business model.
- Familiarity with AP or AR automation tools.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools to automate or streamline accounting work.
- Progress toward a CPA license.
