## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Develop and continuously refine NODA’s Taiwan market strategy based on defense priorities, operational requirements, acquisition trends, budgets, policy developments, geopolitical dynamics, and competitive intelligence.
- Build trusted relationships across Taiwan’s defense, national security, government, research, industry, and broader U.S./Taiwan defense ecosystem.
- Map stakeholders across ministries, military services, acquisition organizations, research institutions, industry partners, and relevant U.S. government organizations.
- Identify emerging mission needs and capability gaps where autonomous orchestration technology can provide operational value.
- Translate operational and market insights into recommendations for product development, demonstrations, deployments, positioning, partnerships, investment, and regional strategy.
- Monitor Taiwan’s security environment, defense strategy, modernization priorities, budgets, acquisition activity, competitive landscape, and policy developments.
- Assess the impact of U.S. defense policy, budgets, security cooperation priorities, INDOPACOM strategy, and regional defense objectives on Taiwan market opportunities.
- Provide executive leadership with market intelligence, strategic assessments, opportunity analysis, and risk recommendations.
- Engage stakeholders during requirements development and help shape concepts, acquisition strategies, experimentation efforts, and programs.
- Develop understanding of acquisition, funding, security cooperation, and government-to-government pathways for evaluating, procuring, and fielding NODA technologies.
- Navigate relevant international acquisition pathways, including Foreign Military Sales (FMS), Direct Commercial Sales (DCS), hybrid acquisition approaches, and international armaments cooperation.
- Identify pathways for moving technologies from demonstrations and evaluations to operational adoption and scaled deployment.
- Develop and execute strategic engagement, market-entry, positioning, and capture strategies.
- Partner with Business Development, Capture, Product, Engineering, Operations, Legal, Finance, and executive leadership on strategic initiatives and priority opportunities.
- Identify strategic partnerships and ecosystem relationships that support operation, integration, and scale in Taiwan.
- Engage research institutions, think tanks, industry associations, defense forums, exercises, demonstrations, and other influential organizations.
- Prepare market assessments, executive briefings, white papers, presentations, positioning materials, and decision-oriented reports.
- Represent NODA in government engagements, defense forums, industry events, exercises, demonstrations, and strategic discussions in Taiwan and across the region.
- Serve as an internal advisor and thought partner on Taiwan’s defense market, autonomy, unmanned systems, multidomain orchestration, and emerging defense technology.

## Requirements
- U.S. citizenship and the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Defense security clearance; sponsorship is available.
- Willingness to travel approximately 35%.
- Deep knowledge of Taiwan’s defense priorities, acquisition environment, operational requirements, geopolitical dynamics, and stakeholder landscape.
- Understanding of U.S. defense policy, security cooperation, funding, acquisition mechanisms, INDOPACOM strategy, and regional defense objectives.
- Experience developing market strategy, conducting competitive and market analysis, and translating intelligence into investment and engagement recommendations.
- Ability to build and maintain trusted relationships with government, defense, industry, research, and national security stakeholders.
- Ability to develop strategic materials and communicate complex market and policy assessments clearly to executive audiences.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with business development, capture, product, engineering, operations, legal, and finance teams.
