## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, train, and develop a team of Specialist Solutions Architects (SSAs).
- Guide the team in enterprise software, data engineering, and data science/machine learning expertise.
- Support complex technical sales cycles, customer architectures, and strategic customer engagements.
- Communicate complex, business-value-focused solutions to technical and executive stakeholders.
- Partner with Solution Architects, Sales, Product Management, and Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Exceed regional consumption targets by deploying technical experts against critical use cases.
- Drive customer success, platform adoption, strategic account growth, and churn prevention.
- Establish cross-functional relationships and foster collaboration between Field Engineering, Sales, and internal partners.
- Resolve strategic customer questions and concerns.
- Handle escalations, mentor team members, and build career paths.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of experience leading technical pre-sales and/or post-sales teams, managing elite technical individual contributors.
- 3+ years developing the data and AI space with highly technical platforms such as distributed computing, cloud data warehousing, MLOps, or generative AI infrastructure.
- Strong command of technical qualification methodologies, architecture design validation, structured proof-of-concept (POC/MVP) management, and value-selling frameworks.
- Experience advising technical executives on strategic data infrastructure decisions.
- Experience hiring, onboarding, developing, and promoting technical talent.
- Experience partnering successfully with Sales, Product Management, and Forward Deployed Engineering.
- Ability to prioritize, challenge constructively, plan strategically, and think analytically.
- Candidates based in the Nordics region may be considered with flexibility for higher travel requirements.
