## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and timely indirect tax filings.
- Coordinate with the company’s filing agent to ensure state reports are filed accurately and on time.
- Own member reimbursements, including processing physical checks, reconciling outstanding checks at month end, and managing escheatment.
- Clear daily cash transactions and prepare comprehensive month-end cash account reconciliations.
- Manage corporate credit card activity by accurately coding and booking expenses and performing month-end card reconciliations.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of hands-on corporate or operational accounting experience.
- Understanding of basic accounting principles, including US GAAP, and general ledger operations.
- Experience with cash reconciliations, expense processing, and multi-state or corporate compliance tasks.
- Strong organization, attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and meet monthly deadlines.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUPs and pivot tables.
- Experience with, or ability to quickly learn, modern accounting systems such as Sage Intacct.

- Base salary range varies by geographic zone: $63,000–$90,000 USD.
