## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Build and maintain large-scale infrastructure supporting Palantir Foundry, Palantir Gotham, and Palantir Apollo.
- Contribute to shared infrastructure and internal infrastructure products used in sensitive public-sector and commercial environments.
- Improve engineering velocity and quality across infrastructure systems.
- Build tools and platforms for developers and end users.
- Work across infrastructure areas including backend, developer, frontend, and storage infrastructure.
- Contribute to Kubernetes-based platform infrastructure, secure deployment and change management, and observability and alerting systems.
- Investigate open-source libraries such as Cassandra and Chromium to understand behavior or debug issues.
- Collaborate with engineers, users, and non-technical stakeholders.

## Requirements

- Engineering background in Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with data structures, storage systems, cloud infrastructure, frontend frameworks, and other technical tools.
- Experience coding in Java, C++, Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, or similar languages.
- Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively.
- Willingness to learn, make decisions independently, and ask effective questions.
- Interest in current industry practices and open-source technology.
