## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the assigned territories and quota for South-East Europe.
- Refine and implement territory-specific sales strategies with management.
- Maintain detailed market knowledge across carrier groups, mutuals, bancassurance players, MGAs, brokers, reinsurers, and InsurTechs.
- Manage the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting through contract negotiation, close, and post-sale relationship management.
- Build relationships with Chief Actuaries, Chief Underwriting Officers, Chief Data Officers, CIOs, CTOs, and other senior decision-makers.
- Identify client needs and suggest product improvements and new commercial approaches.
- Partner with actuarial, data science, solutions, marketing, customer success, product, and leadership teams.
- Develop consulting and technology partnerships that extend market reach.
- Travel frequently for business development events and client meetings.

## Requirements
- 10+ years of professional experience, including substantial B2B enterprise sales experience.
- Proven record of carrying a quota and closing complex, high-value software or technology contracts with insurance organizations.
- Deep understanding of insurer decision-making across pricing, reserving, underwriting, data, risk, and technology investments.
- Experience selling to senior insurance stakeholders and building consensus across actuarial, underwriting, data, IT, procurement, risk, and legal teams.
- Experience managing long sales cycles involving multiple decision-makers, formal procurement, competing priorities, and executive scrutiny.
- Strong new-business mindset with the ability to create demand and open new relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian.
- Executive presence, negotiation, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical solutions into business outcomes.
- Analytical ability and capacity to develop actionable plans.
- Collaborative working style and autonomy in territory management.
- Employment status permitting work from Italy or Germany.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience selling insurance software, including pricing, reserving, actuarial, underwriting, risk, data, core systems, or analytics platforms.
- Insurance domain expertise.
- Existing relationships with senior decision-makers at insurance carriers.
- STEM qualifications.
