## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives on opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proofs of concept, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
- Lead the technical and product sale, recommend best-practice solutions, and guide customers in using Twilio APIs.
- Discover customer technical challenges and design, demonstrate, and present solutions that address business needs.
- Build and deliver interactive, complex customer demonstrations of Twilio Communications products.
- Establish trusted relationships with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Identify and resolve customer and organizational problems.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing, demonstration materials, and reusable presentations.
- Lead small to medium technical projects with limited oversight.

## Requirements
- 5+ years of presales experience selling complex technical products, or 6+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing delivery or consulting experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex topics and build audience confidence.
- Ability to understand customers’ communications needs and guide them toward technical solutions.
- Previous software development experience or working knowledge of one or more of the following:
  - Backend development: Java, C#, Node.js, Python, or PHP
  - Web development: JavaScript, HTML/CSS, React, Vue.js, or Angular
  - REST APIs
- Advanced English proficiency.
- Bachelor’s and/or master’s degree in a technical discipline, such as Engineering, Mathematics, or Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with cloud platforms and cloud application architecture, including Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure.
- Experience in telecommunications, SIP, contact centers, or security.
- Experience with sales methodologies.
