## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and product management leaders to shape and drive the team’s vision, strategy, and roadmap, balancing platform and product perspectives.
- Lead initiatives involving architectural changes, hiring-process improvements, engineering effectiveness, and post-mortem processes.
- Provide technical leadership and drive development for a broadly scoped engineering team in a dynamic startup environment.
- Mentor team members, set expectations, and help them grow into larger workstreams.
- Raise engineering excellence by building and operationalizing tools, monitoring, and processes.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Experience building customer-facing products.
- Experience working with systems at significant technical and organizational scale.
- Experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience building projects with sound abstractions and architecture.
- Ability to develop scalable, extensible core services used across multiple products.
