## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead technical validation for emerging products, strategic initiatives, and incubating technologies from early development through general availability.
- Partner with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Engineering to shape product direction and turn field feedback into actionable recommendations.
- Build repeatable discovery frameworks, demonstrations, technical messaging, reference architectures, and implementation guidance for the global Solutions Engineering organization.
- Design and deliver technical enablement, including workshops, labs, certifications, and playbooks.
- Lead strategic customer engagements, private previews, beta programs, and early-adopter initiatives, providing executive-level technical guidance.
- Identify emerging market opportunities and represent 1Password through executive briefings, conferences, webinars, podcasts, customer events, and industry content.
- Mentor Solutions Engineers and lead cross-functional initiatives that accelerate adoption, strengthen technical excellence, and scale successful practices.

## Requirements
- 8+ years in customer-facing technical roles within enterprise B2B SaaS, including experience leading initiatives beyond an individual sales territory.
- Track record of translating emerging technologies into customer value, repeatable field motions, and product or go-to-market recommendations.
- Experience partnering with Product Management, Engineering, Product Marketing, or related cross-functional teams.
- Strong executive communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
- Deep understanding of modern identity architectures and developer or AI-powered workflows, including OAuth, OIDC, SCIM, APIs, MCP, CI/CD, infrastructure automation, AI agents, and modern cloud platforms.
- Experience with MEDDPICC or a similar enterprise sales methodology.
- Ability to work autonomously and influence without direct authority.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with private previews, beta programs, or early-stage products.
- Technical enablement and customer-facing content experience.
- Experience in AI Security, Developer Security, Privileged Access, SaaS Management, or Unified Access Management.
- Public speaking, technical writing, podcast, analyst engagement, or other technical thought leadership experience.

## Compensation and Benefits
- United States: $171,000-$248,000 USD annual base salary, plus commission eligibility.
- Canada: $170,000-$247,000 CAD annual base salary, plus commission eligibility.
- Benefits may include health, dental, 401(k) or RRSP, paid time off, equity, and applicable incentive programs.
