## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- Work on systems powering the syncing engine, including sync speed optimization for destinations like Facebook and Snapchat.
- Develop streaming syncing capabilities for real-time syncs and support for webhooks and queues.
- Address scalability and reliability bottlenecks to support rapid growth.
- Build and maintain the Personalization API with low latency (<30ms p90) and high QPS (millions).
- Support multi-region and multi-cloud infrastructure for global customers and data residency.

## Requirements

- Experience with distributed systems and high-scale systems (e.g., syncing engines processing terabytes/day, event collection/data streaming, scaling systems through orders of magnitude growth).
- Passion for solving hard technical problems with high ownership in a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong communication, growth mindset, and persistence.

## Compensation

- Salary: $180,000 - $320,000 USD per year (location independent, remote-first).
- Equity compensation via ISO options with early exercise and 10-year post-termination window.
