## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Drive 0 → 1 efforts from ideation through delivery.
- Partner with product, design, research, and forward-deployed engineers to shape and execute product strategy in new domains.
- Build capabilities, integrations, and workflows that help industries adopt Claude safely and at scale.
- Design and operate systems that enable businesses building on Claude to price, package, and sell their products.
- Build commercial controls for platform monetization and ecosystem growth.
- Move across unfamiliar domains and technology stacks to ship high-quality products.
- Own work from design through build, deployment, operations, and iteration.
- Make independent technical decisions in ambiguous environments.

## Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer, with some frontend experience.
- Strong product sense and technical ability across a wide variety of challenges.
- Experience collaborating closely with cross-functional partners.
- Familiarity with using AI tools in the software development process.
- Product-focused approach to platform engineering.
- Ability to build robust, scalable, and easy-to-use solutions.
- Experience operating in both 0 → 1 and more mature team or company settings is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience in a relevant field.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Annual compensation range: **$405,000–$485,000 USD**.
