## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build internal tools and services in **Python** and/or **Go**.
- Build tooling for an internal developer platform, including self-service workflows, shared patterns, and developer-facing interfaces.
- Enable developer workflows across **AWS**, **Azure**, and **Google Cloud**.
- Develop AI-based workflows that improve developer experience and reduce repetitive manual work, including infrastructure-operations efficiency.
- Improve developer feedback loops and platform-service observability using metrics, logs, and traces.
- Automate engineering workflows such as scaffolding, environment setup, releases, and operational runbooks.
- Integrate tools into CLI, Slack, GitHub, and dashboard workflows to reduce time to resolution.
- Participate in on-call and incident response as needed, and drive follow-up automation to prevent recurring issues.
- Own medium-sized projects end-to-end, from identifying high-friction workflows through rollout, adoption, and iteration based on measurable outcomes.
- Partner with Platform Engineering, Release Engineering, Security, and product engineering teams.

## Requirements
- Professional software engineering experience with **Python** and/or **Go**.
- Experience building developer productivity tooling, such as CI systems, build tooling, developer portals, or workflow automation.
- Experience with at least one major cloud provider: **AWS**, **Azure**, or **Google Cloud**.
- Strong fundamentals in testing, code review, debugging, and operating production services.
- Ability to work effectively in a remote, cross-team environment.

## Nice-to-haves
- **Kubernetes** experience.
- Infrastructure as code with **Terraform** or **OpenTofu**, including reusable modules and safe state management.
