## Job Description

## Responsibilities

- **Product Security**: Drive effective security detection and response across the production platform for B2B SaaS cybersecurity services.
- **Secure Cloud Architecture**: Design, evaluate, and implement architectural security standards for AWS, Azure, and PaaS cloud platforms.
- **DevSecOps Collaboration**: Partner with DevOps and Platform teams to integrate security into infrastructure-as-code lifecycle, reviewing IaC/HCL/DSL configurations via PRs.
- **Threat Modeling**: Review architecture and product development to ensure security and privacy by design.
- **Platform Vulnerability and Risk Management**: Manage vulnerability program for cloud environments, triaging alerts and coordinating mitigations.
- **Threat Detection & Response**: Develop strategies for incident response and recovery, implementing runtime and build-level controls.
- **Own Security Compliance**: Design, monitor, and remediate cloud security controls end-to-end.

## Requirements

- Experience at a B2B SaaS company providing cloud-hosted services.
- Flexible security mindset balancing security, usability, and agility.
- Value documentation for recommendations, processes, and decisions.
- Security-as-Code / IaC mindset with tools like Terraform, Spacelift, CircleCI, Git.
- Proficiency with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go).
- Deep expertise in AWS and/or Azure, including secure architectures, cloud-native security tooling, logging, identity management.
- Incident response knowledge, forensic tools, query languages (jQL, SQL, Splunk).

## Compensation

- Base salary: $165,000 - $193,000 plus bonus and equity.
